Yacht-Pool Charter Party 2015.

From 9th to 11th of June in Poreč was held first Yacht-Pool Charter Party, which we organized with support of our partners, Wiener Osiguranje and Sentinel company. This unique event brought together about eighty participants from charter business, managers and company-owners, who responded to our invitation. Our wish was to host all the guests in our town and treat them as nice as possible.

In addition, purpose of this gathering was to strengthen relationship with our partners and friends, connect them with the aim of experience exchange and further improvement of charter business in Croatia, in which Yacht-Pool has, for sure, the important role. However, most important was to enjoy the gathering in relaxed atmosphere with top Istrian delicacies. Event started on Tuesday, 9th of June, during afternoon when participants started to arrive in Poreč and accommodate in Valamar Crystal hotel, and it continued in the evening with casual talks.

The next day was filled with the program which didn't leave participants much of free time, and it started by visiting renowned winery Kabola close to Buje town. In the beautiful setting of traditional Istrian house in the middle of vineyards the group was welcomed by the owner, winemaker Marino Markežić, who then presented his prized wines and explained the process of making them, together with wine-tasting and fine snacks.

Later has spoken our Marijan Dželalija and he held a short presentation reminding for which achievements in domestic nautical sector accounted Yacht-Pool. Apart from being the best insurance for the vessels, skippers and everything else in the marine sector that can be insured, Yacht-Pool has invented much appreciated quality standards that have been and still are the basis for many other services and business solutions developed in nautical business. Counting from very important tax solutions and contracts in the sector that no one before managed to harmonize, over the constant effort on risk cutting and prevention of damage through quality standards in charter, to assistance, consultation and, as the latest novelty, providing tracking devices for boats which allow for unimagined possibilities including internet on board.

Afterwards, the representatives of the co-organizers, Wiener Insurance and Sentinel company, have presented their business and announced the future interesting innovations. They have also been noted as an significant support to the Yacht-Pool successful business. On the way back to Poreč it occurred a spontaneous visit to a nearby brewery of San Servolo where participants tasted that famous domestic beer.

The same evening the whole group has been transferred with a boat to the nearby island of Sveti Nikola where they visited newly renovated Valamar Isabella hotel resort. There, as the culmination of Yacht-Pool Charter Party, was organized gala dinner with seven-course meal of Istrian specialities and seven different quality wines from another famous Istrian winery, DeGrassi. During dinner experienced sommelier told short but interesting and inspiring story about each wine.

The last morning numerous short meetings of participants were held, summarizing past events and very enjoyable experience. This relaxing but eventful gathering fulfilled all the expectations of participants and organizers with clear desire of our team to become traditional. Therefore we confirm organization for the next year with new surprises and even larger number of participants.
